The champagne climate

Three hundred and twenty-two days of sun a year, dry air and a sky that looks retouched. We built sixteen rooms to face it.

Arve, the table

Capuns, larch smoke and Nusstorte.

Dinner is served in a stube panelled in three-hundred-year-old stone pine. The kitchen cooks the valley: cheese from the alp above Pontresina, trout from the Inn, and a walnut tart our pastry chef makes every morning.

Guests say

“We asked for a lake view and got the whole lake. On the second morning there were horses racing across it, and we watched from the balcony in our robes.”
